We’ve always taken a hybrid approach to locations, but COVID definitely amplified and made us really think and discuss with the team about what suits them. We’ve found the sweet spot – you can work from home/remotely for the majority of the time, if you please, and pop into the office as little as once a month. Our team is spread all over the country and we find this works well for those who have other commitments or live a non-commutable distance from London.

BTW our office is nothing like a traditional office – it’s our culture hub, located in the heart of London with lots of delicious cafes, pubs and shops around. Also, we plan and organise team drinks, dinners and other cool events so your trip to the office will be worth it!

Whilst we hope everyone can find a flexible solution that works for them, we do require everyone to be working from within the UK – if you want to go abroad, we have an unlimited holiday allowance to take advantage of!

We like to keep things simple here at NOVOS. We only have 2 interviews with you – a screening call to see if you’re a good fit for the role and company culture, and a second, skills-based interview where we can find out more about your knowledge and experience in detail.

After you submit your application, a dedicated recruitment team will review your CV and cover letter and will arrange the screening call. Upon a successful screening call, you’ll be introduced to the hiring manager and they will set you a short task to see your knowledge and how you think.

The second interview will be with the hiring manager plus another member of the team who are experts in your field too, so you can share and discuss your task and findings with them.

And that’s it!

We’re BIG on training – we have extremely healthy and competitive training budgets for every employee at NOVOS and it’s up to you how to spend it!

We actively encourage everyone to seek out external training if it will benefit them and also share this knowledge with the team after.

We also block out one Friday a month for our ‘Company Upskill Day’ – we encourage everyone to use this day to work on their personal development – perhaps that’s completing some online training, working on some thought leadership for LinkedIn or our blog, or helping a junior member of the team with some basics, we want everyone to grow, learn and develop here

We also host regular internal training, everything from specific SEO skills and tools, to excel training (pivot table anyone?) and even presentation training.
